I haven't been on CS:S in a while.
So when I next wanted to go on I had loads of updating to do which wasnt the issue.
However I am told I need a newer version of DirectX (9.0c).
So I go to the site where I need to download it, and it makes me type in this code to verify I'm on a working windows computer. But I then find out that my windows version is not a registered one and I am unable to verify my computer in order to get directX.
I can't play without this new version.
Is there anyway I can download this version where I am not required to verify anything? Because when I downloaded this one version, on the startup on CS:S it still fucking prompts me to get the new directx..
Can anyone help?

You get DirectX on lots of PC mags.... and lots of sites have it as well. Its a free program just micospoof is a cock.
