Sony handy cam

its the bottom line mini dv handycam, is it true with out the dock you cant use firewire. someone told me that, but yeah......

nope, Its not true. LOL, funny thing is I have the SAME camera but mines the HC42. That camera is so nice dude. You do NOT need the dock.

No. I have that camera, they're fucking liars. I've never used the sony software because it blows a lot of ass.

Yes, yes it is. Besides the lcd screen and one time it fucked up using cheaper tapes, I love everything about it.

I asked the guy when I was buying it and I was told it was like a portiable charger. You can connect it to the bottom of your camera to charge it without cords and you can still plug your firewire port into it and still capture footage from it.

Bottom Line, you don't need it.

im getting a sony handycam.. but im going to order it out of the wishbook... and use usb to usb.. none of that fancy fire wire shit

Using usb...you might as well use the camera you have now. it'll suck without firewire man.

690 is the sony

632 is the canon

but I want the wide screen which the canon has...


when I comepair the 2 on bestbuy the canon just looks overall better man.
