Time lapses are fun but can be a waste of time if the shot doesn't come out the way you want it.

Some video cameras have an interval time setting, you can set it to film a short clip (like, .5 seconds) ever 30 seconds or so. Another way is to use a digital photo camera like a Nikon D3 (that's what I use) or one that has a built in intervolometer, so it takes a picture like, every 15 seconds.
I use the second method because I can get extremely high quality time lapses. The first one in the video I just released was 117 pictures, each picture was 25mb and 4256x2828.
Once you have the footage, put it into your editing program and speed it up, if it looks too choppy, try using a motion blur.

The skate crew met-up with these guys that are down from kansas city... these guys are fucking sick. I've been filming them for the past week, they are going to be down for another week, so were gonna try to finish up their part for the dvd by then
