Im not convinced its that good, I mean, I think peopel get "cool" feeling from the nice colors on sky and all, but I dont think that is too much different to "normal" cams.

But the cam is that little sony 3ccd cam, expensive as hell. For more info, search "smoke cracks" threads and choose something like "yay! my new badass cam!

But yeah, that cam rocks anyways, small, 3ccd... what more you want? I can still live with my lo-fi shit, 1ccd and 0.8/1mpixel and whatnot, and prize range suits me better biggrin.gif

Word/Smoke Crack posted a test video of the camera and it seems great for the stuff I usually film, that's why I know it's good.

It's quite cheap for a 3ccd camera.

Nah, I wasnt hating. I just wanted to point out that people may think "oooh, great sky! Cam must be good" Its the same effect when people go "ooooh sweet editing" when its really about good production, from angles to spot set up, not just editing. And that happens a lot on these forums, people cant point out whats really happening or dont know name for things.

Thats why I wanted to share my opinions. And I pointed out that I think the cam rocks, small, 3ccd(it obviusly has good pic quality due 3ccd...) etc.

And remember people, quality of webclips and screencaps vary due the program used to take the screencap or videoclip compression.

And for last thing, Im not saying that is a bad cam or anything, or that we are dealing here with any of of the issues I mentioned. I just say there is these issues. But that cam is small and 3ccd, so its good if you want that.

Do you realise word got it duty free and from russia -> cheap. It maybe more expensive for you. K, it may not be as expensive as vx2100, but its definatly more expensive than those new panasonics. But yeah sony is the way to go though.

So much talk, but where´s the beef? (refering to my own post)
