I currently have a Sony DCR-HC90e Handycam and a Sony VCL-0630X Wide-Conversion Lens x0.6 as shown.

Now here are some comparisons I made -

It is ok I guess, but I want a better lens, one which captures more.

I am unsure which one to purchase and if it will fit. The camera takes 30mm lens. The hardest part is knowing which lens gives the best image; it seems hard to find comparisons. Also, I don't understand what the x0.6 means - is the higher that number the better, or what?

So could someone give me some advice, thanks.

just noticed the fuck up on decision, damn.

higher is bigger...so normal lenses are 1x....then 0.6x is less than double...
most fisheyes are like 0.43x...and they don't do much to make the image better, the actual camera lense does that...
and if it doesn't fit, buy a ring adapter, plus it'll make the fisheye a little better, since it's a bit further away from the actual lense, minimising the view...

alright buddy...

I have like a dozen fisheye lenses...I took the snaps off from my raynox snap on fisheye lens and I also have a a standart .42x or something lens with the ring adaptor. what I did was glue the raynox on top of the 42.x one or somehting, and it looks good on my cam, check it out in my videos, their is some gausting, but when you edited, it's not too noticeable, but it still works good with zoom through. I duno, I hope this helped. hahaha
