Well it might not be important but....

A site called "Wikipedia" features articles about anything, like sports, people and weird things, I'm sure you've heard of it.

Now, you can actually create your own article (as long as it's not already been posted)
So I was wondering if it was a good Idea to do one about "Homegrown Stunts" (Homegrown, is taken)
I've already typed up the first paragraph, and it looks ok.

But I was wondering if this is a good idea, sure it well prolly get more attention now, but is it good to get the word out? I'm pretty sure nothing can happen.

Also if this is a good idea should I add a link to HGF? you are allowed to add links as long as their to do with the article, but I'm not sure if it's a good idea to add a link here, just incase, also would it be worth talking about pranks and stuff similar? I mean would that make things worse, I'm going to try and make it sound professional, and not death defying and illegal you know.

I just wanted to see what people think about this idea, personally I think it's a great idea, but I just need to be sure.

If so, I will type up the article then I will paste it here before I publish it, so you can tell me if it's any good and if I should add/delete things
You can edit the article yourselves, anyone can.

Thanks.

It's not my final article, needs much more info, and I need to go back and edit it to make it sound more professional, and punctuate it more so someone who has no idea about what HG is can understand:

'''"Homegrown (HG) Stunts"''' Began many years ago, infact it is not certain how many.

"Homegrown Stunts" Is a genre of stunts performed by people of many ages. Some of the stunts involve; homemade tables, staple guns, fire, light tubes, and many other objects.

The stunts are filmed by a group of people, who engage in these activities. Each group has their own ideas, style and technique if you will.
Stunts like smashing fluorescent light tubes over the stunt person, stapling body parts, jumping from great heights into boxes, bushes, tables (some even on fire), and other objects, setting fire to the stunt person, the list goes on, and there are always new stunts being performed.

HG is not a sport, maybe a hobby, some consider it as life, It's a serious thing, which takes skill, and consideration. "Guts" are a good thing in HG, it takes guts to jump through a burning table, it takes guts to jump off a three storey building into a bush, it takes guts to perform in HG. It's daring, and some times life threatening.
Time, commitment, and effort are a key skill in creating a major HG group. Also unique, original ideas makes a group stand out in the scene. Hardcore groups like The Pickled Eggs (PE), RetardZ, No Mercy Video (NMV), Stupid People Do Stupid Things (SPDST) any many, many more feature the most daring "HG Stunts" some never before seen. The groups will eventually put together a DVD featuring their best stunts,

EDIT: I will start to talk about it's similarity with Jackass and Backyard Wrestling etc, and let people no it is in no way "Jackass Related"
Well just basically go more in dpeth, maybe someone else who is more cleverer than me can continue or what ever, or we could all chip in ideas

Yeah I know, I was getting to skits, skits definetly needed to be added, I was going to start talking about the commitment of groups with editing and camera angles, and groups make skits, stunts and other random things, but obviously make it more punctual.
Oh, I dont no about pranks, is it a good idea to add it? It will attract teenagers and young adults, but might give it a bad rep to "your average guy" you know. Also is mentioning HGF a good idea too?

IM AWESOME AT WRITING THESE TYPES OF THINGS!! check out this thing I wrote on [Lunatiks] back in like may:

One cold and snowy weekend in February 2004, six South Jersey kids got together at the Favoretto household. With a three day weekend to their advantage, Tom Hoover, Steve Lolli, Tom Wallace, and Will Krumaker all arrived at Gino and Bob Favorettos' household and over the course of a day, filmed about an hours worth of footage. At the time this was just a once in a blue moon type of day and with no intentions of starting anything, the months past and school ended. When summer came Tom and Steve, started going over the Favoretto's more and more (often at the same time) and one day they all got so bored that Gino grabbed his camera and he, Tom, Steve, and Bob went back down to the basement to try and have the time they all had back in February. Only problem was Tom Hoover wasn't there and Will had moved at the end of the school year, so basically the footage that night wasn't what it could have been.

July came and so did both Gino and Bob's birthday party at the Buena Vista Campground. As you probably imagined, this was the jump-start to what would be known as [Stunts]. The party was a three day party that was so out-of-control that it inspired Tom, Steve, Gino, Bob, Tom and newcomer Paul Taylor to create a group, a friendship, and a website based on doing wacky, and over-the-top stunts, antics, and skits. Over the next weekend Tom, Gino, Bob, and Paul got together at the mall and shot footage for what would be the [Stunts] Trailer. Meanwhile, Steve was talking to longtime friend Dave Fiocchi on the phone about [Stunts], and Dave was instantly interested in what the six members were starting. With an agreement upon the group Dave Fiocchi was given the right as the Seventh member of [Stunts]. The next weekend was a let-low weekend for everyone except Tom Hoover. Tom and his cousin Dave Gladney shot footage over most of that weekend. Also hard at work was Tom Wallace. Tom, being the computer wiz of the group, was in-charge of putting the website together, and by weeks end [Stunts] was officially born.

So with [Stunts] officially on the web they could now edit films and such for everyone to see. Tom was hard at work once again, and with a music suggestion from Steve for the background song on the Trailer, the long awaited [Stunts] Trailer was finally taking form. With just half of August left before summer break would be over, the group adds its 8th member with David Gladney. Unfortunately Daves welcome party was cut short due to Tom finding out that the name [Stunts] which the group had previously chosen for their name, is already in use. The group struggled the whole week thinking of names to use. "The name lunatiks was a name Tom and I came up with and it was thrown around a bit but eventually just decided to stick with it" said Tom W. With the name lunatiks the group decided to reformat the website and add new features like a chat room, store, and a suggestion page (not to mention two new videos Bike Jump 1 and Horsin' Around.)

In September brought the start of a new school year and a chance for the current members of lunatiks to spread the word about their site. Throughout the first month of the school year lunatiks wasn't getting around very fast, so with a daring idea Tom Hoover decided to bring his video camera to school and have Tom Wallace film him doing crazy stuff in school in an attempt to get footage and spread the word. After that idea they spent the next few months racking up footage along with Paul and Steve in school and had four new videos In-School Piercing, School Fun, School Fun *Remake*, and Random Stuff. With these Four videos also came the 9th member Bob Read, the 10th member Kristen Fallon and guest appearances by good friends Larry and Dan. As for out of school footage the group got tons of film on Steve and Dave throwing objects like lights, signs, and pumpkins at drive by cars. Also filmed was a new video for the site called Water Prank and a newly added section for prank calls by Dave F, Steve, Tom W, and Bob R.

During the month of December, the group decided to go with a more lied back style for the holidays and did mostly prank calls for the site. Unfortunately Dave made a bad decision and he prank called his school. Dave was caught and was suspended for well over a month from school and with that no one in the group did much of pranking or filming. The only members who continued to film were Tom Hoover and Dave Gladney and by time Christmas came the site had two new videos Human Carwash and Bike Jump 2 and with that the group could finally take off for the holidays.

January 2005 marked the beginning of a new year and lunatiks planned to make this year an unforgettable one by entering into the 2005 Home Grown Face off and the THC challenge. The group looked forward to getting started on the face off (a 57 task scavenger hunt) and right off the bat Tom Hoover and Dave Gladney did three of the tasks. With a great jump on the new year the lunatiks felt like they were on there way up, not to mention the 1st place team dropped out. Unfortunately though, the Vice Principal of their school found their website on the school computer from tom and tom downloading the videos for their friends to watch. The school called each of the members parents and forced the group to remove all school related videos off the site.

When February came around the group new it had to stay strong and come up big with some good footage and that's exactly what they did. Completing 42 of 57 task for the face off, 13 of 23 tasks for the THC (2nd place with 1094 points), adding well over 10 prank calls, 8 new videos, and new member John Cheli, the group bounced back the only way they new how with hardcore electrifying videos and enough extra goodies to make your mouth sizzle.

The Start of March was like a repeat of February. The group had no intentions of letting up just cause it was a new month. Lunatiks Decided to add a 12th and final member, Dustin Dixon, four new videos 3 new prank calls and they got an extra month to complete all 57 tasks for the face off.

Its March 25, 2005 and Lunatiks are looking to pass all of the other competition and win both the face off and the THC. With Tom Wallace and Steve Lolli both at the controls of the website things should be running faster and smoother. They are in the process of reformatting the entire website as we speak including the banner. Once the new website is up and running and Lunatiks will be back online and in full throttle.

In April troubles and fights plagued the group for the first week. In a dairing desicion by the group they removed 3 members Paul Taylor, David Fiocchi, and Dustin Dixon. With the ending of the HomeGrown Faceoff and a 3rd place finish, [Lunatiks] now look forward towards the start of The Hunt 3 which begins May 1st. The group plans to take the list and run with it, going above and beyond the call of The Hunt by putting every ounce of blood sweat and tears they have into each task they perform, For they are indeed Lunatiks and they will stop at nothing to prove it to you!
