ok some guy had impetigo when we were playing rugby the other night. We didn't know before hand obviously but my skins going all dry on my face and I was just wandering if anyone has had it before and if this is a sign that I might have it. I've had scrum pox before which is a bit like it but that was on my leg so dunno. can someone please help me I really dont want an infectious face. What would the ladies do?

Go to a doctors or look online for symptoms...

Mang I use real life as my information not shit on the internet. Never know what to trust on it... just wanted somoene who's had it before to let me know if they had like dry flakey skin where they had it before it got all bad

haha, it sounds like you have it, but I'd still follow tom's advice and go look somewhere online for the symptoms. Haha, I had it once, it sucks... I think there's some anti-biotics you can get, or some cream or something, I got something off of a friend when I had it I think, that was like 5 years ago.

The infection is spread when someone touches an impetigo rash and then touches another person. The spread can be prevented by washing hands after touching infected skin. Treatment of impetigo with antibiotics can also prevent the spread of infection.

How is it diagnosed? A physician diagnoses impetigo by examining the child and taking a culture for infection (or swab). The infection is treated with antibiotics, which may be given by mouth or applied on the skin in the form of an ointment.

my sister got that once...cuz she drank viniger haha I promise she tried like 449499 oniments and finally one worked..she had to go to a dermitoligist gosh I cant spell anyway yeah you need to go see a skin doctor if you want it gone fast.
