UK Tour.

Ok. I no iv been talking about Music more than HG on the fourms for the past few days but iv realy been full systems go with my band Last Five Days. (as some of you will know)

The Point of this thread below. (I can see little responce coming from this but oh well)

Last Five Days want to start a UK tour with 5 to 7 UK bands depending on how the responce is.

The Plan is to get each band to set up 3-5 gigs in there local area over a 4 month period then the dates would be posted onto each bands website under a title (that has not been decided as of yet) then all of the bands would travel to each location play the gigs get new fans and go home happy...
and if there is money involved (from playing the gigs) the money would be split. but most venues pay per band anyway.

If you have a band or are in-contact with UK bands that you think would be intrested post in there MP3's and details.

Im looking to get hold of Pen Knife Love Life, The Enigma Design and Frank Turner if it all goes to plan. I need a list of names in this thread. I may be Wacky LouZy Hero of HGF but today im not pissing about, this could help you and your band mates build up a massive fan base across the UK dont miss out.

I love the idea, would you only be doing it in sort of local areas or round the whole of England. Cos I would love to see you guys.

Man try and get a gig at a place called "The Cockpit" in Leeds, Trivium placed there a month or so ago. Get a gig there and I will go for sure!

you might be able to do a show with them in the south there good and they have played with breed 77 I know the singer quite well

Loads of bands come south, poutsmouth and southampton, also quite alot come to brighton.

Recently there has been some good bands but not the main bands, becuase we dont have any big venues to play in.

Lol, Brightons got the concorde 2, its pretty small. Very small in fact, Reel big fish played here...there pretty big (too me ) InMe play here regulary, not sure about any bigger names. The mainstream bands play at the brighton center, but I really wouldnt wanan go to a gig there as most of it is seating I think. The taste of chaos thing is down there soon. But yeh concorde 2....tiny!!!

The idea is,

Say a band wants to join the tour from liverpool. they set gigs up in liverpool and all the bands on the tour will go there. So if you want us to play near you hook me up with a local well connected band. Image file not present in the recovered backup

I'm just saying, you gotta set yourself realistic goals, hoping to be able to fund a UK tour and get accomodation gigs etc is a big project to take on.
