Well, finally after a year and a half of riding it, I drove a 2001 mint condition bike right into the ground. Had a mechanic look at my bike after it broke down and he said;
Engine is completely fucked
Braking system non existant
Cylinder & piston fucked
Oil & Fuel pipeline split
Air intake split
Motor burned out
Electronics fucked
Lights hazardous
So basically, it will cost more to fix than get a new bike. This sucks Image file not present in the recovered backup
Ah well, I had some great times on that ho, so now she's gotta go to the scrapyard. 2001!!11 geeze, I fuck shit up bad.

You should burn it and film it.

Fantastic idea, it's got 5 litres of fuel in it!
I'll consider that, and keep a wheel as memorabilia.
03 October 2005, 11:03 UTC#4
Either that or bring it to the junkyard. Im sure they will give you a couple of bucks. And then if you still wanna burn something...Burn the money

Gman doesn't need the bike to get the ladies, all he has to do is say, "I run one of the sweetest internet forums there is".... And if that doesn't work Gman, get a new bike you fool.
03 October 2005, 11:36 UTC#7
Good point
03 October 2005, 11:46 UTC#8
maybe its time to get a car?
03 October 2005, 11:54 UTC#9
No way, I'd rather have a bike than a car. Way better gas milage first off. Second, I could do some fancy things, for instance get ladies, because I'm not cool enough to run HGF Image file not present in the recovered backup
And third, have a reason to not give others rides, because you obviously don't have room.
03 October 2005, 11:59 UTC#10
Aw man that sucks ass. You getting another one or can you get a car now?

so youd actually choose a moped over a car?
mopeds are slow as shit, ugly, and fucking cold to drive
but still,if I could choose I would rather have a gixxer 600 than a car,but not a moped
03 October 2005, 12:03 UTC#12
Gotta get my license first, and it's like trying to get a damn degree. I need some new transport for the next 3-6 months, so I'll get a 50cc motocross type bike. They PWN for offroading and are harder to fuck up than a city bike.

Presume you meant 1,700?
That's a fuckload for a vespa man, mine cost me like 400 quid in mint condition. Never done ANY maintenance on it at all, haha

03 October 2005, 12:07 UTC#15
Yes 1,700 im a fucktard. its limited edition

(I think what they mean by that is it breaks down quicker) limited life span
03 October 2005, 12:08 UTC#16
What happend to your filming sessions anyway?

Well, I do say unbiasedly that it is an ugly bike, the wheels are a tad whiny and little. But anyway, 400 quid for a year and a half transport is a bargain from my point of view.
What do you reckon of the Derbi Senda Dan? That baby needs me.

Need my bike for that, I don't intend to piss our small community off. Once I have my bike though, I can get places

Get one of these new CBR 600's, nice middle weight bike with very nice chassis and handling.

I'm gonna enquire about an actual bike license. ATM I can only drive up to 125CC. I'd actually prefer a nice bike over a car TBH.
