Is this a good idea?

I've been researching and thinking a lot about pursuing a career in film. Do you guys think its a good idea to sell my car, included in attachments for an XL1 and some lighting like THIS

Edit: Also does anyone have an XL1 and if so how is it?

I'd keep the car and get a job.

I am going to school for film. So eventually I want to try indie film.

sell the hideous fucking car, buy a good camera and a car that doesn't look like a mobile ticket, especially if you are going to be filming you don't wanna drive that thing, fuck around one time and the local cops will know its you every time you drive by

hahaha, you think I had someone do my shit? me and my dad painted my car. I painted the inside, ive done all the work on it. no I didnt pay 17,000 for a 96 dodge neon, oviously you dont know much about cars if you seriously thought thats even relatively close to what I paid. but I would rather have my car, which no one has anything close to looking like, than your stock nissan

if your going to film school or what not, they will most likely have those cameras on hand anyway...so you can just borrow their ones...
and then how are you suppose to get around with no car ?

good point. save up your money. get the camera for no interest for a year and work it off. that's a nice car, keep it.
