Trying to help my mum out and find her an awsome laptop that will last her for like 5 years at least.

So Id really appreciate if some of you guys could give me some links to some awsome laptops (best of the best) not cheap but not ridiculously expensive.

I'd get a PC. You can't upgrade much with laptops.

Viao is the way to go man....when brent was in tennessee I was on his the whole time he was down and it was INSANE....very good computer

Thats pretty good and affordable but Im looking for something a bit better than that so its still good in 4/5 years

What do you plan on using this Laptop/PC for because the time the five years are up, that laptop will be as old as Windows 95.

Get a sony vaio but you're gonna have to pay a bit for a good spec. Stay clear of dell and tiny.

Make sure you check out all the relevant specs, processor, memory, hd, cache, graphics card, wi fi. This will obviously be dependant on what your mum will mainly be using the laptop for. And make sure you do some research into the companies history of fans (wish I had done that). Well that's my advice.
