Yeah im trying to just write my name like usal....But it doesent show up. Has anyone had this problem and how do you solve it ?

You know when the bar flashes when your just about to write...well it has no bar or anything

make sure your not typing the same color as the backround,


check


the font size,


and the font,

check the layer position too....make sure up top on the tool bar that it says normal and not overlay or clear also

Check if the text layer is at the top of all layers..

Font size 11? isn't that abit small?

Perhaps that's why you can't see it.. hah.

Thats just a random size its the same with all ov them

maybe try increasing the font size to make sure its not too small,

Nope ive tried that aswell...I really dont know whats going on

have you tried creating a whole new layer? shft+ctrl+N...might work...

try flattening the image first before you type some text, that might have something to do with it. Layer > Flatten Image

I've downloaded fonts before where nothing shows up, no matter the size. Maybe it's just a bad font? Have you tried others?

But if I want to add text on a new layer or even put text over an image I cant
even if I flatten the image, add a new layer,change the font, change the size of the font....it wont type...but on the layer it shows what I have typed but it wont show up on the image

Photoshop is still a huge mystery to me in so many ways eventhough I've used it for more than a year.

Used to happen to me all the time. I have no idea what caused it and I have no idea how to fix it.

I upgraded from 7 to CS and it hasnt happened yet so fingers crossed.

I dunno, but does any have the problem in CS where they cant use n e of the tools, it just stayes as the arrow?
