Wondering if any of you have done any case mods? As in turned your shit case into something amazing? I plan on stripping down a DVD player, as I realised it's virtually perfect to use for a case.

Yes, I'm sad.

I got a custom case. Two side windows with fans, then inside there's two tri colour cathodes and a blue sound reactive cathode :)

Musta cost quite a bit, sounds fawesome.

Here is my design idea, I think it could look good...

Gman, I've never even heard of anyone thinking of doing that, that's sweet. And it seems very possible.

Well, modding communities have been around for ages anyway, so it's nothing new. It's just something to cure nightime boredom on weekdays when I rebel against myself and don't fucking sleep.

Anyway, I'm gonna give it a try.

ah geez, I wish I knew what nighttime sleep was anymore. :-( lol.

and no one I know is ssmart enough to mod something into a case. because I live in the shitiest town in the world.

One of my friends once made a real "case" mod.. He put a whole PC in a briefcase haha it was fucking awesome.. Ill ask for the pics and post them later.

haha it was awesome he was walking through school with a briefcase but he could just plug it in everywhere cause it was his pc as well :)

my sis has one with glass sides and light colums in the front and spinning lights in the side.....I in fact own a stock dell case

Haha that briefcase mod sounds awesome. I use to not have a case, just the hardware all plugged together in a draw.

I have to say I have you beat Rob, I posses a stock gateway case with several band stickers, and it is absent from the body of the computer. OHHHHHH YEAHHHHH!

I dont think youll be able to fit everythng I a dvd case.. and what would you do with pci cards? what if you want to add more? and it might be too enclosed and the prosessor might over heat..

if he gets the right motherboard with all the stuff onboard then it would work, but im not sure if you can get a good onboard graphics card. Otherwise he could have them sticking upward, haha , lol
