If you don't know this already;

In premiere, create a new title (one of the buttons at the bottom of the assets window) and type your website in and place it in the corner of the video. Stretch it out for the whole of the video and bingo.

I used to do that and get bloody slated for it.

Now I just fade it in for the first 10 and last 10 secondsish...still over the footage..

This was posted ages ago I think. I think Webb said Jaymz or someone submitted it or something. Or maybe I made that up.

Putting your site/logo doesn't always help. BI have been screwed over many a time. :P

Then there's nothing stopping someone from clipping those bits out. I guess someone could still crop out the name at the bottom. The only decent way to do this is watermark it, but that can sometimes look bad.

dude, we've tried everything. If someone wants to use your video, and cut your URL out they'll do it no matter what.

If webby put is URL at the bottom of the whole thing, they would've just put black "widescreen" bars on it and stuck their url over it.

They've done it all to us. its fucking infuriating.

Yeah I know theres not much you can do about it. The only thing that is really effective is putting your site name in transparency straight across the screen like WS did.

If someone took our shit and played it off as their own, I would think thats shitty, but fuck it. We know we did it, and I know everyone here would stick up for the HGF squad. And I'm pretty sure no one on homegrown is stupid enough to rip-off another groups footage, I mean were all family, and family just doesn't do that.

Rix from retardz the one that takes the tube round his head, edited that and posted on a few forums he posts at and it turned up on SP about a month later. its cool tho iv been a fan of the site for many years..good to know we got on it. aswell as NMV and SPDST/DAN G
