ok I want 2 start a website 2 show the world my videos I need 2 no were r the best places to go 2 start, how much space will I need and how much bandwith will I need? thanks Tom.

umm..it depends..THC uses about 60-70gigs of bandwith per month and we use about 2 gigs of space rite now..it all depends on how many people will see your site and how much content you will have

dfilms is getting a new server with unmetered bandwidth, and is starting www.bluredmedia.com and we ll be puting up a site for free ftp, sql, email, subdomain, hosting, and if need be, cpanel requests,

I design my sites in Photoshop CS2, then export it to Dreamweaver where it is coded.
HGD is more than just me, all the designers are excellent and quailty is assured.

yeah, were gonna provide free hosting services with only the ftp, email, sql, and subdomain, along with the other free services.
I am going to get the site up like tommarow with a script I bought.

Homegrowndesigns will PWN bluredmedia in terms of designs, as we have amazing designers and templates, I am trying to organise the billing script, but I have a couple of problems before I proceed.
Anyway, if you do offer free hosting SQL wise, no way am I gonna admin that server

Seriously though, I don't want you offering free hosting Karl, or I won't migrate you to a new server or keep it up to date and fix problems.
Going ahead offering those services will not only compromise the security of other users, get your IP blacklisted and server possibly unplugged, but will also cost you at least $70 an hour to hire a tech where I do it free.

ok, I didnt know all of the security implications that the free hosting may have cause to, and to hgd, I know, its not for hg stuff anyways, just general, hgd has the best of the best, in my opinions.
