Ok so my old camera
broke and im thinking of getting a new one... After some research I think that a Panasonic will be the best choice. The fact that its handling has been given praise weighs a lot.
so will it be the
Pansonic NV-GS400 the
Panasonic NV-GS250or maybe something else ? like the sony-pc1000 a small stealth camera but is it worth the dough ?
Im not sure if the gs400 is worth its prize or not...
I dont want to spend much over 1000euros... :/
and is there a difference between PV-gs400 and NV-gs250 ??? Am I right if I asume that the difference is regional?

there is a fuckload of difference between the 250 and 400
the 400 is so much more better....definately get that over the 250
I'm getting that one soon...

The 400 isnt that much better...just better. But its up to you at the end of the day.

the quality of the 3ccds in the 400 are better
they are like 1/4 whereas the 250 is 1/6

What I meant was, is there a difference between PV-gs and NV-gs
I do realize that the gs400 is better than gs200 but its a lot more expensive allso...
so the question is... is it worth it ?
there are other cams out there aswell... that are in the same prize range...

I'd get the sony if it has night vision. Sonys film much better in darker areas.

it really depends what you are using the camera for. im sure a lot of groups only use their cameras to show clips online on this forum to the other groups and maybe make a dvd to sell to online. you can always buy a mini dv camera for about $300. it's always nice to have a high grade camera but it isn't necessary.

dude I would go with Pansonic NV-GS400
but sony is a very nice one too...
