CD/lightbulb in the microwave?

This looks cool, anyone actually ever done it, my mate did it with an old m.v and he said it was awesome.

Yeah I seen them do a CD on a show called Brainiac on Sky One. It was awesome, looked like a lightning storm in the microwave, way better than the one in the clip. It was sweet.

Does it like fuck the micowave up to the point where you shouldn't put food in there any more? And if I wanna do this, I should just set my camera in the same room and walk away to record it? I don't want my camera getting fucked up.

I actually do it all the time and I sit right in front of the thing........My microwave works fine, but now made has me scared that I'm gonna be deformed!

I doubt it would fuck your camera up, but I would do it in a closed off environment with an old microwave and I would be nowhere no it when it was going off. You gotta be careful not to leave it too long, otherwise the m.v will blow up.

Camera will be fine, but I advise you leave the room. And you shouldnt put shit back in after you have done it, sometimes the microwave will explode. As the CD is metalic it SHOULD fuck the microwave up anyway. But on one episode of Brainiac when the did it, it caused a storm in the microwave, it looked amazing but the microwave exploded and went everywhere.

Heh, yeah I saw it on Adam & Joe too. The thing with the grape was cool also, I've tried that a few times.

Anyone who doesn't know, you can take a grape, slice it in half but so it's still joined by the skin, squash the halfs down a little bit and shove it in the microwave. For some reason, probably science or something, the grape sparks like a mini firework. It fucking reaks too.
