I havent used it personally, but im gonna recommend the Sony PC1000 over it. Its 3ccd and around the same price. A bit smaller as well. Panasonic camcorders arent very good.

dbuys.com is the absoute cheapest site I know of that is legit. They have the pc1000 in PAL so check it out.

No I mean't the Raynox 0.66x Wide Angle Lens, in the link I posted?
It will fit on that camera right?

Also it would be real helpful if any of you that might have the lens, maybe you could post some pics taken with and without the lens?

it's a good camera....I'm buying the same one very soon...you cunt
the lens is good too...and it has the ring focus which is awesome
panasonic cameras are very good...I'd rate it over a sony because they make there specs exclusive to their products....like lenses n shit...
so good choice on the camera
although...it's not a pro 3ccd cam...like the VX series....but it's still very very good for what you'd be using it for...

a grand for a 3ccd camera is a steal. I haven't been looking at camera prices lately. I just bought a back up cheap ass mini dv camera for $300 about a month ago in case I'm on a shoot and I need it for whatever reason. I should have waited for something nicer but it's only used as a back up camera.

yeah a couple years back it wouldve been, but since then theyve come out with these cheap shit 3ccd cams that are in fact 3ccd....but the final result is far from the type of image a sony vx2100 would capture. Ive seen 1 ccd sony's capture better footage than some of these wannabe 3ccd cams.

Then I'll just wait a bit?

But to the guy who called me a cunt, twice, when you get the camera can you post some footage you took with it?
