my friend just called me and asked a question bout his computer, he said when he starts windows, his desktop shows up, but no icons appear, and when he hits cntrl>alt>delete, theres no programs running.anyone know whats up

k.I got him to do sysem restore..that worked. Now hes running a virus scan, but his cd drives still dont work
