It looks good mang, not toooo sure on the font though. I think it would look better smaller personally, but yeah, real good for a first attempt.

leave the name as is, add a border, and it'll make a great sig. I think the light blue makes it all stand out well.

press ctrl+A and go to edit --> stroke, change to black or whatever, and press ok. TADA!
