Yeah sorry I meant making it Pinned. Anyway, I bought TOCA Race Driver 2 on Friday and its great, just as good as all the other versions, cant fault the graphics. 12 player wireless should be good too! I got some accessories and films coming too, overall I think I have spent around £300 on it so far. Its good to be able to have pretty much everything you need portable in 1 package (MP3 player, movies, games etc). And as far as competition goes, DS can eat my ass

Double postage! I have Donnie Darko UMD (free) and Up In Smoke Tour UMD (£10) now. Both are coolio, but the PSP speakers arent as good as they should be, and the earphones are a bit quiet too. Maybe its just me

Nah I got v2.0, cos I wanted the Web Browser. I ordered a 1gb mem stick the other day, £55 inc P&P. Not a bad deal I dont think, considering its usually £80. eBay is the way!

My 1GB mem stick came today, it makes the PSP so much better. Being able to hold hundreds of songs instead of just 5 is miles better, also being able to put films or TV episodes on is cool too. My free Spiderman 2 UMD should be here soon. I have spent about £305 on my PSP so far.....wow never realised it was that much!

Theres some videos now that are supposed to be able to fix dead pixels when played on your PSP, so if they work its not really a problem

Yeah, I want to know how to do that!

Nah I dont know how to do that either, wouldnt know how you could, cos I doubt a USB cable would be able to transfer that data quick enough. You prob could if you had wireless net access. Dunno if this has been mentioned here yet but theres a 4gb "Hard Drive" coming out for PSP, comes with a double power battery too - http://www.play.com/play247.asp?pa=rcs&pag...SP&title=796270

Oh yes, double post! Anyone got Grand Theft Auto Liberty City Stories? I bought it, and its quite amazing what they have achieved with the PSP in this game. The "City" has more detail than GTA3, and it has some good side missions too. The story isnt half bad (typical GTA type story). Only 2 things slightly wrong IMO, the controls are a bit....difficult to master, would be better if the PSP had 4 "shoulder" buttons like a DS2. Also the framerate is a bit low at times, but its always playable

Anyone hacked it yet? My mate has one with nearly all the released games loaded on a memory stick.

Im probably getting one now you can get hacked games.

22 November 2005, 11:51 UTC#25
But if the hacking goes wrong youve fucked $400 worth of psp.

Just make sure you download the proper hack and not the one that crashes it.

Ive not got a PSP yet and not sure if I will... But I love the fact that you can put movies on it. I was just downloading star trek voyager and then found out its all MP4 format :( which is for PSP (SO I am told) so I guess I can see some reason to buy one now.

So thesehacks... Is it messing with hardware or just software? If its hardware I dont think id do it... But if its something like a new bios like you can do with XBOX then it might make me buy one.

Just messes with the hardware.

Ive got 25 games already running sweet off the memory stick with a iso loader. They run FAST.

Also running a NES emulator with about 180 games.

Do the hack, its worth it.

Glad you bumped this.
I saw today this guy with a Modded PSP... It was so modded I thought it was something else. It had a AV input modded to it so it could hook into any TV and also had a (What I think was) harddrive on the back. It looked like a Laptop one. But he said he had every game on there and SNES/GBA/Sega/ and more games all on it. Also had movies which he showed me along with the SNES games.

He had a cool case on it which he said he built.

I defo want a PSP now but I think ill wait for the price to drop and also wait to see what happens in the modding scene abit more. Now the XBOX (one) is old I just got one and am going to modd it to see what can be done with it.

Yeah, some of the mods are fucking awesome.

I probably wouldnt've gotten one if they didnt hack it. The emulators work sweet.

I wouldnt wait too long to get it. You can only hack version 2.0 and under. If you get a 2.01 or 2.5 you cant hack it. New versions are coming out later this year that cant be hacked yet.
