Ray Nagin went on WWL Radio Thursday night to say the feds "don't have a clue what's going on." He added, "Excuse my French -- everybody in America -- but I am pissed."

Wow man, that's pretty messed up haha. Funny, but messed up. My high school has about 250 kids in it total and we raised 6,000 dollars today alone for the relief effort. We're a Catholic school and don't think we're all rich kids, because we certainly are not. People just gave anything they had and it was frigging crazy what we came up with. I personally gave nothing, because I didn't have anything to give. But still, it was pretty cool.

Man my highschool has like 1000 people in it and my JROTC unit are going around and collecting money for it too! I you guys raised 6k I wonder how much 1000 people will donate? How much did the average person donate?

I don't know really. But it was pretty crazy, some kids were donating like 100 dollar bills and 50's as well. It was pretty amazing really. But, there are 250 kids in the school, so 6,000/250= 24 bucks a kid. So that's pretty cool, but I know I wasn't able to donate anything close to that, just some people really believed in the cause (like they have reason not to) and they reached out to help aid. It was on the local news here and in the Columbus newspaper tomorrow morning.
