Anybody here believe in Nostradamus?

I decided to do a little research this morning and see if anything Nostradamus related would turn up as related to Hurricane Katrina. Not sure if this is related but these 2 passages caught my eye. I personally wonder if this is the beginning of the end or the end of times as this could be the beginning of the disasters of biblical proportions. Here are the 2 Nostradamus passages I found that relate.


CENTURY 10 QUARTRAIN 49:
Garden of the world near the new city,
In the path of the hollow mountains:
It will be seized and plunged into the Tub,
Forced to drink waters poisoned by sulfur.


CENTURY IV QUARTRAIN 80:
Near the great river, great ditch, earth drawn out,
In fifteen parts will the water be divided:
The city taken, fire, blood, cries, sad conflict,
And the greatest part involving the coliseum.

yeah suppose, but the whole nostradamus stuff is pretty loosely related to alot of things and can be interpreted to fit certain situations and events.

nostradomas is the worlds greatest con artist

I read this book about him, he started out with profecies that were to specific so they failed but then he started making them really broad so they could fit whatever any natural disaster

honestly I used to believe him but his biography shows he was a fraud

Interesting. I haven't read his biography but keep in mind, it was written by somebody else, hundreds of years after his death. So who knows...

But yes, his predictions are broad and can appeal to several world situations.

I dont know what to thik abut nostradomus but some of his shit is pretty believable.

Moody, that last part about in the last passage you posted made me sorta believe. Interesting stuff.

nostrodaumus predicted france's king was invincable

the kind later died in a freak jousting accident

noustradaumes was then considered a fraud untill the queen of france decided to believe all his proverbs, then everyone decided to believe them

it's easy to predict somthing after it's already happended, like you can find in the bible them talking about natural disasters yeah it's easy to do after it has already come to pass

his pertictions arnt that detailed tho I could make up somthing up right now and maybe in the furture it would happen

Well, if anyone believes in the Nostradumbass crock of shit, you should watch the episode of Penn and Teller's Bullshit! Concerning his "prophecies". It's interesting to see just how much shit that guy is full of. Oh and by the way, I'm old school hating Moody.
