Yeah man, I love The Mars Volta, they're insane live. Thats a damn lot of pedals.

I saw them at the big day out (the only music festival that actually can be fucked coming down to shitty new zealand) and it was the best live act I have ever seen and I have seen a few!
ie
1) The Mars Volta
2) Aphex Twin
3) The Flaming Lips (only because I got to dance in a alligator costume on stage with them
4)system of a down (yes we all know that story
5) Marilyn Manson (yes is know but WOW!
6) Aphex Twin (the best ever electronic live act EVER!
7) The Hives
8) Gorrilaz (I cant spell for fuck, but you get the picture)
9) Slipknot (I hate them, but fuck me sideways the moshpit was fun!)
10) Queens Of The Stone Age ( I have seen them 3 times and damn they are cool

I was just about to bike over a kick you in the pooper until I saw the pics. Pretty damn amazing, I need to listen to some more of them buii

The Mars volta are awsome. WTF? Aphex twin played here? where and when?

EDIT: this better not be at the big day out, I hate that thing.

Because their songs have a wide range of sounds and effects hence the need to lots of pedals.
