It is said that they are closing gas stations down and keeping them open only to emergency vechials. WTF!!!

I dont think you guys understand how bad it is in the gulf coast.. this is one of the worst hurricanes to hit the US in a long long long time.. always is for the ones who come up the gulf.. warmer water makes the storm frow.. thats what orginally created the storm.. and the gulf being as vital as it is for gas and such.. more efforts are going to getting things back to normal.. trust me.. going a few days without gas is going to be alot better than going a few months... anyone familiar with LSU... yeah.. its defiantly.. gone... as in.. basically wiped out... as is the entire state of Lousiana... 99% of that entire state is below zero feet above sea level anyways.. so when a storm of that magnitude comes through with 20 30 and 50 foot waves.. it fucks alot up....

Still getting wind storms and electrical storms off the hurricane.. its worse towards middle TN and especially west Tn...This whole thing is sorta scarey for me though.. I have family from New Orleans and I dont think anyone has heard from them... But yeah.. I have never seen a hurricane that brings out the red cross to places around here asking for blood.. so you know it must be bad...

gas prices are way to fuckin high now man, I almost cant afford to drive just becasue or gas, and I dont even have my own car, I only pay 90$ a month for insurance too. Its just rediculous

That's nuts! I'm out in the Maritimes and its almost $1.21 a litre! Image file not present in the recovered backup it took 2 hours to go from 98 cents a litre to $1.21 a litre, next thing I know it'd going to be $1.50 Image file not present in the recovered backup

I filled up my car yesterday and it was just around £55-60. As petrol has gone up alot here, £1.01, which ranges around the $1.70. So pretty expensive!!
