ok today, my ipod screen just froze out of nowhere. I press the buttons and nothing happens, no sound, nothing. it starting to piss me off.

what should I do?

mine did it after I bought it, but I relized I just bought a case, haha get it guys, get it, it was just the plastic case for it, haha GOD IM GOOD,.

Hook it up to its power, then put it on hold....then turn hold off....now hold menu and play together for like 4 seconds and it will restart. Or if its a 4th gen I think its play and the middle button on the wheel together for 4 seconds or so.

If nothing else works then just leave it untill the battery wears out and it turns itself off. Then turn it on agian it will be fine.

my zen micro froze on me suprisingly yesterday, I removed the battery and re started it. It had to do something with the playlists but everything was fine.

I tried formatting my iPod with a toothpick and fucked it right up... I COULD pay for repairing.... but its not worth the money...

Did you try compressing any of the files on it?

yes the ipod has the battery floor.. but apart from that they are the dogs...

I love my ipod.. I even have my bar running via my ipod

My iPod was more for backing up files... I occasionally listened to S-CLUB-7 or other classics...

I got a cd player, and I check the ipod site and it said, warrenty or not, they could fix it for free.

but its good now, I left alone for a day and now its back to normal
