so im on MSN and all of a sudden this mesasge comes up:-
Did you know you can find out who blocked you on fMSN? Check it out, it's free
http://www.block-checker.comso, me being a naive fool, clicked it thinking that it was typed, not sent automatically, so then I go to talk to some one else and that same messge comes up.
basically, what I wanna know is, are there any programs that get rid of spyware and are genuinally free

Yeah, I got that block checker shit too. It pissed the fuck out of me. Turning it off in msconfig and uninstalling doesnt work.
You need hijackthis. Its free, easy to use, and will fix the problem.
To get rid of spyware in general, use Adaware or Microsoft Anti-Spyware. Both are free and easy to find on google.

To get rid of that one you first have to go into safe mode to stop the program from executing. then just search your computer and delete anything related to it. Also try unistalling it via the contral panel, but whatever you will need to go into safe mode.
And to answer your question, there are a few that are good but a good free one is called ad-aware I believe. Google it. I can't be bothered to go into any more detail as I am at an internet cafe at the moment in greece and I am leaving now. Have fun...

Do you realize how much stuff spyware infects? its basically impossible ot get rid of it without ad-aware or somethin like that

There is no way you you can stop all spyware, I reccomend reformating your hd every few months providing you have clean backups at hand.
