The Cops Sort Out all the Problems they can, there are a few problems with the law taht help dealers and big organizations get away with stuff but thats the laws fault not the cops. Can't believe the shit you were talking last night dude, I hope you were just majorly in a pissed off state of mind and so that was influencing your judgement. Now I'm not from 'the ghetto' like you, but I have common sense and can understand basic police tactics. Like Skip said, they're not gonna go after minor dealers when they can watch them and catch the big fish. If you cruise around with your homies in the hood long enough, maybe you'll see such a thing as a drug raid, where police march right into a structure that could be full of spaced out dudes. Now I'm not down with with the street lingo like you obviously are, but I do believe that these drugged dudes can and often will be 'strapped up'. Which means the police going in are risking their lives to clean the area up.
Of course, this doesn't happen every day (well at least not where I'm from, your 'ends' may be different). But even when a policeman is patrolling, he's putting a fuck load of shit at risk. If he sees a mugging taking place, he has two choices: intervene and risk getting the shit kicked out of him, or walk away and have a complaint written to his station. It's either his life or his livelyhood man. It's not like a regular job. Police officers are far too underpaid for the job they do, just like medical staff and firemen.
Btw, for some who got 11 GCSES (congratulations, btw, must be hard to study with all those gunshots going off and those crack dealers constantly standing right outside your front door) you sure don't show a lot of common sense. Calling them 'pigs' and running away from them when they chase you doesn't make them any nicer to you.
