these are the 1s that matter the rest, my standard grades or (gcses for you english fucks) aren't worth the paper its printed on, A-levels/highers are what you need.

im only 14, and im going into yr 10, so this thread probably hhas nothing to do with, but ive read all the posts and theres all this talk about "EMA", what the hell is that?

NOTE: A Levels are going to start to get ALOT harder, so if your just starting them, your pretty screwed

EMA is a goverment thing that pays kids to go back into 6th form after GCSEs. But you've gotta fall under a certain catergory, like your family has to make under 40k I think. I'm not to sure.

Oh and btw, A levels won't start to get harder for at least 3 years. Both my parents are teachers so I'm pretty clued up on this. It'll take examining boards years to at least consider increasing difficulty, and then they've gotta apply the choice.

Ema = Education Mantinance Allowance

If your family gets under a certain amount of money u get paid to attend college. If its under £30,000 u get £10 a week. If its under like £23,000 u get like £20 and if its under £19,000 u get £30 a week.

They do it on wht u earnt last year....by looking at the tax records I suppose....so either shes lieing about getting it or her daddy dosent tell the truth about wht he earns in his end of year tax thing.

You can take a total of 3 if you want.

or if your dumb then just general science.

we have to take two, compulsary, and if you do an AS you do two in yr 10 and take the GCSE at the end of year and then spend yr11 doing an AS in human biology
