I've been filming with this camera for about a year and a half now. It's a Sharp MiniDV and it usualy works fine until 2 weeks ago. At first it wasn't bad just a little fuzzy but it could be fixed by a turn of the screen but now it's really fuzzy and changes colours. It's probably something to do with the LCD screen because when I upload my footage onto my computer its not fuzzy and coloured. Any suggestions on what I could do?

Here are some pics:

Use the viewfinder or send it back to the company if it's still on warranty.

If I'm correct, it's the hole.

I'd say a year tops. Usually you have to set that up, so you'd know how long it was. Maybe you didn't get one.

if you dropped your camera ever that could have done it. or you might have left your camera near a heavy magnet, which can cause damager.

take it to a camera shop. most video camera shops will diagnose your problem for free and give you a price quote to get it fixed.

I've never realy dropped the camera ive dropped it and caught it...I was jsut in the states looking for cameras... no extremely good deals so I'll just wait a bit till the new models come in and the 2005's price goes down.

I thought it was gonna be something with a dirty video head.. but its not .. cuz they footage comes out clean.. just not the LCD screen.. I think it is a couple loose wires or something.
