Would you consider homegrown as a culture or a sport. Personally, I would consider it as a sport.

If it was a culture wouldn't we all be dressing the same? I mean some of us dress like chavs, some of us dress emo, some of us dress like goths and some groups dont even dress at all! We all like different types of music but mostly rock I suppose. I'm not sure, Tomm, maybe you are right!

It deffinately isn't a sport, not like you get sweat bands and shit for it. It is more of a hobbie to be honest. Something I enjoy doing and watching, I wouldn't even consider it a sport.

can't say really, it's differn't things for differn't people, it's a life style for us more than a "culture" but for others they are doing it to be proffesionals, like webby and SPDST, and others just do it for fun they arn't seriously like that all the time just having a laugh

I homegrown is somthing differn't to everyone

but it's definatly not a sport

culture - #

1. The totality of socially transmitted behavior patterns, arts, beliefs, institutions, and all other products of human work and thought.
2. These patterns, traits, and products considered as the expression of a particular period, class, community, or population: Edwardian culture; Japanese culture; the culture of poverty.
3. These patterns, traits, and products considered with respect to a particular category, such as a field, subject, or mode of expression: religious culture in the Middle Ages; musical culture; oral culture.
4. The predominating attitudes and behavior that characterize the functioning of a group or organization.

# Intellectual and artistic activity and the works produced by it.
#

1. Development of the intellect through training or education.
2. Enlightenment resulting from such training or education.

# A high degree of taste and refinement formed by aesthetic and intellectual training.

Homegrown, to me, is a hobby/pastime. It's not permanent, that's kind of obvious.
