Thers a new scammer e-mail going round. Labeled "spot the spoof" from 'paypal'. Its actually from some sad ass person who thinks their the shit. The e-mail contains information on how to keep your paypal password safe from scammers, and then it promts you to log into your paypal account. The guy somehow got a list of paypal users e-mails, and has struck in a few places. So keep your eyes open.

Yeah I got this e-mail. I shit myself, it said I had bought a sexco masturbation machine for $1,560. I was like WTF?!?!
Looked real as hell did the e-mail, had all the official markings and even the email address was legit. But they had made a few errors.
1: It said "Dear Customer," But real mail always put your name.
2: It said total cost $1,560 GBP, So it contradicted its self.
3: The links to the sign in and shit was to a address you would think was the real PayPal but clearly wasn't.
Just delete them and dont click the links.

I had my paypal account get fucked up a long time ago someone charged 500 $ to it and I kept getting bill to pay it. and they bought a bunch of diablo weapons lol.

I use paypal and I honestly get about 5 EMAILS each day that go something along the lines of 'your paypal information may need updating'. It sucks bcos I never know which ones are real or not.

Yes, there are thousands of Paypal spoofs, and they all suck.
The way to tell if it's a scam or not is Paypal will always say;
Dear Name here,
NEVER..
Dear valued customer,
or something similar.

The email address wasn't legit, it would have been spoofed.
1. Real mail from Paypal will always include your name as it can access it's own database with details, whereas spoof emails can't. But with other companies with less advanced databases they put 'Dear customer' so it's hard to tell.
