Ok if the LoB site layout was like this, would it be any better... remember its not gunna be alot of empty space, imagine like a updates thing in the middle and stuff...

I think LIFE OF BOREDOM needs to be clearer, and what is that font called?
Also the blood looks a little tacky, try different shades or something.

Any site is better than your current site. But anway I think you can do alot better.

Your logo isn't the problem, you try to hard to include effects and such. All you need to do it think of a basic layout, don't add any effects of filters. Then move up in stages of adding stuff. Then at the end you can try filters and shit out. But oyu can make better things without them.
