Our hunt mix up clip

Right, a while back I posted our site promo on here, which was incredibly poor and basically all I did was cut a few clips to size and run a track over the top. Those of you who did see it, if you can remember, please tell me if I have improved on my editing, and how I can improve it more. If you are going to flame me as many of you may, please do it constructivly . Those of you that haven't seen our older promo, you can find it on our site, but don't even bother seeing it, it sucks balls.

Ok, so here the video's are. I have been working on these non stop today, so try and enjoy them.

basically all you did was cut the tasks to size and layed a track on top but some of the tasks were pretty good maybe alittle to quick I donno

I think its pretty sweet. everything works well. definitely gives people a good overview of some tasks by critical affliction.

no not really thanks anyway. I tried to do different things with the clips and actually time them right, I was only using ulead video studio 9, so don't torment me about ot putting effects or shit in. The reason I didnt use any transitions is for the fact that it was fast eidintg, so transitions would have allowed less room for space.

yeah it was pretty good thos but there wanst much editing the beginning was cool

the editing fitted nicely, but maybe some transitions, it was well timed out, overall ok video, an improvment definetly, looks like you took the time to make it work.

Also will you be getting a different editor, maybe Pinnacle Studio, or Premiere? just wondering

Um, was good.....went well with the music (even though tht song was terrible and a bad choice seeing as u had to stop it to hear the talkingm from some tasks) It was good the starting bit I liked and the flashing to black bits too, why was the frame rate shite?

Funny you should ask that, today I bought myself pinnacle Studio DV version 9, but I stuck to what I knew and edited it with this for now. I breifly explained but yes I could have add some transitions, but it seemed to fast to be able to do that withs oem effect really. Thanks.



Thats one thing I forgot to mention. The frame rate may appear shit in parts because-

1. half of the stuff in the mix up was filmed with a shitty digital camera, literally.

2. half of the stuff in the mix up which was filmed with our new camera was put onto my pc via a usb cable. Thus, the shitty transfer.

No worries for the future mind, I now have a dv cable and card that came with the pinnacle software. Thanks for feedback.

yer as I said 1/2 was filmed with an old camera, and the other half, althoguh filmed with our new camera, was put on to the pc via usb so was not very good quality. Also the default wmv video settings on my editer is 25fps, is that very good?

should be 29, but I doubt a few frames will make much of a difference.

yer, but anyways I got pinnacle today with the dv>firewire cable so hopefuly it will kick instead of take ass from now on.

editing was ok went with the music well specially with begining but your filming is poor and shakey in some places

I liked the clips you guys did good on the hunt editing was good I thought and I havent seen your promo but id imagine you did alot better only thing I dont like how it ended

I use 25 framerate, I think the 29 is ntsc and 25 pal... I think.

The clip was entertaining, the signed bibles and satan was funny. Editing wasnt bad, framerate was.

Cullen... the guy in your signature... does he has wings on the front of him? His feet are facing forward.

Wasn't too bad. Synched well with the song, and what a good choice of song it was

I'm glad you didn't whore out transitions and over used effects, the content is what it's all about.

As everyone said, framerates and quality is a bit shit, but you've sorted that so it's all good.
