What a fucking stupid question.

It's an art form you cunt. practice and learn. Noone can just "tell you how." its a much more complex process than that.

He doesnt even no how to edit, nor what either of them are, would be easier for him to start with WMM, and also he's either gonna have to buy Premiere, or download, and he doesnt no anything about it, WMM is the optional choice for a beginner

Listen man. The amount of shit you have to learn to do this. (not to mention the money you have to spend) you will not learn on a FORUM.

it depends on what kind of camera you got to decide which method of capturing the footage to your PC that you'll use.

Yeah, get 5 clips straight from your cam then put them one after the other and slap a blink 182 song over the top.

Nah, the best way to learn is watch overs videos and pick up techniques etc. Just try stuff out, you'll get the hang of it.

Connect the Firewire or USB Ports on the camera to the computer using your Firewire or USB leads (or another kind I don't know blink.gif )
Next turn the camera onto playback and your computer should instantly recognise it has a new device connected. It may also ask you what you would like to capture your footage with, in your case, Windows Movie Maker. Load up WMM and go something along the lines of FILE - CAPTURE VIDEO...then follow instructions from there.
Thats what happens for me anyway^

And dont even think of asking HOW DO I EDIT because you can only learn by doing it yourself!

THERE! Now dont say I didnt say! biggrin.gif
