I just got a message from a trusted friend on msn that said lol and it had a link next to it, well I click the link and my pc freezes up, I think ok haha very funny, thinking it was a one of those prank links, but no when My pc starts up I have loads!!! of fucking spyware installed, so after I clean it all up I get back on msn and I'm like dude wtf you asshole why did you do that! He said do what? I explained what happend and he said he had nothing to do with it, and I believe him, he has been my friend for some years now and I honestly don't think he would do something like that. Has anyone had this happen to you? Its fucked up that people actually spend there time fucking up peoples computers. I know this is probally a useless rant but god damn something should be done I hate fucking spyware!!!!

I really hope it does cause it is a pain in the ass, its not like people actually click on the links they get from spyware, if anything it will repel people away from them.

There was some msn virus going around, it automatically makes somebody send a message to all their contacts, its just a link to some bullshit that kills your comp and passes it on to everyone. I was cool enough to not click, my friend did and had to get his pc fixed.
Moral of this sotry - be me.

Well I'm glad I didn't blame him. Why did he send to get it fixed? A simple run of Adaware and Spybot cleaned mine right up...

LOL Without spyware pc shops would be out of business Image file not present in the recovered backup

Had this before on AIM though, needless to say I had to reformat my PC as it was so fucked. Thats when I made the switch to Linux. back to Windows it is though, because my PC's are in storage whilst we move house.
