I actually read an interview with Thomas Haden Church ...and he said that he could not say what bad guy he was gonna be ...but offered a hint ...saying that electrisity was part of it ...so I am actually thinking that he is gonna be Electro ....and lets not forget that Topher Grace(from the 70s show ) ....is also in it as a top secret bad guy as well ...so who knows who he could be(perhaps Hobgoblin...but he is really thin and scrawny though ...)

It is my understanding that they now intend to make 6 Spiderman movies and that they are gonna work up to Venom...but want to cover some of the classic bad guys first(it seems that they are doing all the bad guys from the original sinister six(Doc Ock..green goblin..electro..vulture etc )

As for the Second Green Goblin ...in the Comic He is Harry Osborn(James Franco) ...so they could very well do that story line as well

As For Venom ...Spiderman got The Black Costum from the Secret Wars Comic story line ...and discovered(thanks to Reed Richards) the costume was possessing him ...and was lusing him as some sort of host feeding off his powers and body ...as mentioned in above post he got rid of it(if memory serves by standing near a giant Bell as it rang ....ithe costume searched for another host and found Eddie Brock(who hated peter parker/spiderman and the costume wanted revenge as well ...thus Venom was born ) ....

Venom had nothing to do with mary janes boyfriend from the second film ...he actually becomes the Man Wolf(another storyline...kind lame ...)

Well that is some of the info I know ...as a big fan of the comic  I thought that Sam Raimi has done an Awesome job with the first 2 films so far

"Electricity"

In the link in the first post, it says something about electricity and a belt.

The Vulture is one of the lamest characters ever. And I no the shit comes down in the space shuttle. And Peter stands near that huge bell to get rid of it. 6 films will rule, hope they are all as sweet as there predicesors.

LOL.....I thought that looked wrong ...thanks

true about that ..it does say electrical is used in his belt ....so who knows

Never really thought much of this character ...I think that electro would be much better bad guy ....

Plus I would think that Thomas Haden Church would not have alot of screen time if he spends some of the movie disguised as other characters ....plus he really is not all that threating or powerful .....

I Agree Vulture is kinda lame ...plus he is like 60 years old in the comic and almost married aunt may once ..lol

The Man Wolf Story line in the comic involves a Gem or jewel or something that Jamesons son(who goes up in a shuttle and finds it in space) finds and wears that turns him into Man Wolf

Spiderman gets rid of the Costume that becomes Venom by standing next to a huge bell

I only asked cause I was at a comic store (where team-mate damian works) waiting for him to finish so we could do the baby got back shit. I was bored and looking around and notices a comic with a ton of differevt characters on it, like Wolverine, The Hulk, Spidey, etc.

I opened it up and there was a big set of pictures, one page, with names. It listed people like Fantastic Four, and the ones I mentioned before.

I noticed a female spidey.
The name said "May Parker"

The comic was something about these stars killing eachother
