Better graphics and stuff, and you get it free when buy Half Life 2, or at least you do in UK, dunno bout newhere else...

Source just dosnt have the same feel of old school cs. I only have 256mb ramm so when a firefight starts up I start lagging. And props will make you bounce when you run into them, which is annoying as fuck! I am really not a cs fan anyways I prefer othe hl and hl2 mods such as Battlegrounds, Day of defeat, Plan of Attack, and Natural Selection.

I think Source is better, but it doesnt have the...reliability of hits as 1.6 does. The props thing is to do with Valve trying to reduce lag, you can make the props same as HL2 in any map you make (where you dont bounce off them), so its just down to the map.
