Silent Hill

Anyone else into Silent Hill? Im on a total SH kick, IM OBSESSED. I beat 3 and 4 and I just bought the first one, and in order to do that, I had to buy a ps1 card. ANyway, I love the art and the themes. I also hear there is a book and DVD in Japan about the series, but the book hasnt been translated. Id still like to have it though. I even have dreams about this shit while Im playing.

I love Silent Hill!!! I'm waiting for the movie which is gunna be bad ass! Love the game, me and a mate use to play it in his house all alone with the lights off and volume high, would scare the shit out if us.

God I hate those games! They scares the shit out of me even in the daytime! The devolpers really did a good job with creating a really scary ambience and I can't wait for the movie as well.

Yes, the visuals are so creepy and the way the game is laid out, to scare the be-jesus outta ya, but thats why I love them.

Its not going to be a CG film, real actors in this, Sean Bean is in it. I love Resident Evil also, but I prefer Silent Hill that little bit more.

I love how the game is so random, like you go in one door and when you go back out of the same door everything is wrong. Love love love it!

Anyone ever heard anything about or played SIREN? I was looking into it when it came out and last night I went to EB games and the guy said it bombed and that the trailer was banned in Japan, but there are still a few copies floatin around. Supposed to be scary.

I have heard of it yeah, but never seen anything from it. What was that shitty game called, where you took pictures of ghosts to kill them? I mean WTF is that all about?!?! Silent Hill is the best without a doubt!

Well that Fatal Frame shit sucked ass. I havn't played any of the new Resident Evils as shitty Gamecube bought the rights to them so now the new ones are not available for the PS2. How gay... Gamecube blows.

Yeah I asked a guy in this store why all the new Resident Evils have been released only for Gamecube. And he said because they bought the rights to it. Image file not present in the recovered backup

Ihope he was just wrong and I can get new RE's on the PS2, but I have not seen any on the PS2 since the one after Code Veronica.

I also heard about resident evil: outbreak being multiplayer compatible but I bought it UK version and it was single player only, I think this might just be the ntsc version only or something. I wasnt too impressed with the :Outbreak release not sure what it was about it it never appealed to me you cant be silent hill for horror games always been a fan the creators mind must be well twisted

yeah outbreak sucked. Dude the gamecube might blow for other games but it was RE4 was amazing on it! I bought a $50 gamecube just to play it!

yeah RE4 is to be released soon on ps2, which is why I didn't mind selling my gamecube, as for siren, I played it, I semi liked how they did the graphics, but in the end it was pretty shitty. and I loved fatal frame, only to the sense that I use to always go ghost hunting. I have yet to play the 2nd one. and I'm not even going to get started on silent hill, I've been a huge fan, the 3rd one was my favorite. it took me awhile to beat the 2nd one mainly because I was slow on developing balls enough to play it all the way through. but that was years ago.

So far, the 3rd is my least favorite, I didnt like Heather too much for some reason. I liked 4 a lot. As for the ps2 RE4, Im pretty sure Ive held it in my hand when it first came out. But now its nowhere to be found, I guess. I could be wrong though.

Resident evil 4 for the playstation 2 is gonna be like Code Veronica X, its just gonna have extras all that bullshit. Sillent Hill 2 is hard as hell to beat and I got it when it was new and still havnt beaten it.

it could be already released, I just remember reading that it was going to be for ps2 soon. and I played the 4th silent hill almost a week straight, it was addicting, I liked the whole idea of the FP view while in the apartment room. as for the 3rd one, I like when the characters are females, because you don't expect much from them like you do when the person is some experienced gun slinger like in all the RE games and whatnot. I always liked the character from 1 and 2 of silent hill, harry.
