im guessing it was done in photoshop
how was the color thing done? when the fire is its actual color and everythin else is b&w?
it also shows the guy (webby) flipping in stages, how is that possible aswell?

select the fire with the marquee tool ... right click , select inverse, image>adjustments>desaturate
if that doesnt work just select the fire and put it on a different layer

For the stages, there are different pics overlaping each other use a mask on each one, and paint away (with black), the unwanted parts.

I've seen that picture loads of times, but I never realised about the fire being colour
Then again I never really looked properly
Also a good question, I'm going to try something similar
