Personally I only cheat in a game after I have beaten the game. It allows me to have the satisfaction of beating it without help, and also allows me to go back and explore some of the fun things I missed the first time around playing a game.

I only cheat in games like san andreas. and that's AFTER I beat it. use to I had a gameshark and I'd use it on games like resident evil, but I haven't done that in years, I like to enjoy the games now.

yeah there really isnt any satisfaction running aroun with infinte health and ammo, well to me atleast.

Well I nulled my vote because It depends on the occasion.
Cheating after you beat the game is normal.
If you get stuck you moght have to use a cheat.
Sometimes you are just lazy.
But CHEATS and CODES are different.
A cheat helps you progress in the game while a code changes something (like big heads or paintball mode)
I use codes all the time, cheats are on a rare occasion

I used to cheat on games all the time when I was younger. Now I hardly do it at all. But yeah like you said, I usually do it after I beat the game

I do niether untill I beat it, If I get stuck in a part of a game then I turn the diffaculty down but never cheat, it seems that if I do cheat the rest of the game just "feels" wrong to play

yeah I know it is fun but I like to play through the game normally first, and by paintballs are you thinking of goldeneye? Thats the first thing that pops into my head

I only tend to cheat, for example in GTA, like the weapons cheat, it can make a game more fun. But it's kinda pointless to use all the cheats from the start.

I suck at playing games, therefore I often end up searching walkthrus when I get stuck, which easily leads to searching up cheats..

Something I felt I should add:
Cheating in online games is fucked, not only do you ruin the game for yourself making it not a challenge at all but you also ruin everyone else's online experince.

I only cheat, after the game. After I know that Im good enough to beat it, solo. I use cheats to do some fun stuff.
