Amazing, Not really sure how you manage to judge them on their acting with a trailer. It's all out of context. I'm not saying they are good actors though.

We are running on 1000 dollar budget which was cost of the cam.

So they are free :)

You should of saw them before practicing.

im sure the film will be good.

just thought the acting was a not as good as I would hope for a feature film (assuming that it is infact a feature length film?)
, and as its a trailer, it susposed to give us an idea of what to expect, and if I see that the acting is crap in the trailer then im going to assume that the film features crap acting/

It will be. These films usually dont have the best acting either though. Because of the tiny budget.

On second thought, if you turned your movie into a porno...and made Amy get butt raped by the killer...that would be the best video ever to be posted here.

It was supposed to be a trailer, so it should make you want to check out the movie. But there wasnt anything happening -> didnt seem interesting movie. camera angles were very basic and editing tried to be something cool, but failed. The timing was wrong and it got damn repetive.

So production wasnt anything special. And the movie seemed cheesy, but bad flick. I wouldnt d/l it.

EDIT: tip for editing, would ahve been so much better if you would have faded black and back to normal from the black. grey to gery fade, whats that all about?

EDIT EDIT: I mean grey fade to black was good, but it should have ended in the blackness and cut straigt from there back to normal.

damn, I cant sound sensible.

Well the blood was real, and the rest im not even going to bother.
I already have replied to that once.

Bought pigs blood.
Plus thats 2 gig video down to 7mb.
So color loss is expected.

Maybe I should make a video of me beating shit out of myself.. geared more for your intellect.

Actors are extremely expensive for quality, they do it for living a full length feature takes awhile.
So far were at 4 months into it.

Every weekend.

30 hours x7 members
at 15-20 min. dollars a person

Thats 17 Thousand dollars a month.
I'm filming with a 1000 dollar budget.
Go watch some oldschool horror films
Try the Evil Deads $180,000 film with horrible acting.
Evil Dead 2 $360,000 film still horrible acting.
Then comeback and post.

I dont mind being critiqued, or I wouldnt post just be educated about it, or I will slap down.

Vode I cant disagree with you. I find making a trailer much harder then a film. You have very little time to get your point across to all audiences. The main trailer once music and sound redone will make a world of difference. Its not going to be anything special with out it. Watch a scary movie with out sound it's not scary.

Vode it is faded to black then back from black.
It's in black and white scale.
