I wan't to get a laptop, but I know they don't have as much memory as a PC. So does anyone know a laptop that has almost as much memory as a PC. Or more than most?
18 July 2005, 21:13 UTC#2
They have a different kind of memory I think, because any laptop I've used before has been slower than a desktop pc.
Why would you want a laptop?

I don't know really...portable?
18 July 2005, 21:20 UTC#4
Yeah, but when you're out and about, do you really want to be on the computer?
18 July 2005, 21:23 UTC#5
It's not that, Ijust have way too much shit in my room. There wouldn't be any room for it. And I won't be able to move any of the shit out of my room because I need it.
18 July 2005, 21:26 UTC#6
Well if you want a laptop, make sure it has a big hard drive and lots of memory if you plan to use it for editing video.
18 July 2005, 21:32 UTC#7
Yeah, thats the plan, I would rather have a PC but there's no room for it. I'm sure I can find one with lots of memory. I want to edit shit on it as well.

I was thinking the same thing, I was in your situation, but I just thought "fuck it" I got a pc instead, if I got a laptop with the same specs, it would of cost me nearly double,
if possible, I reccomend trying your hardest to make room for a PC, not a laptop, it will work out cheaper, and better in the end

Take BaZ's advise.
