I just reformated my computer cause it was freezing every second and now I have no sound can somebody please help me get my sound back

go to control panel, then system, and then device manager... and list what has a "!" beside it

well I dont know what my sound card is I cant find it on my pc so can someone tell me? AIM=tmonkeez

yup its your sound drives not installed....

You will need to find out what your sound card is first... (time to open up your pc biggrin.gif )

nerds you over react too much..

go to bottom right hand corner of your screen, click the icon that looks like a speaker ONCE until a volume contol pops up..if that is fine, fine...

If sound still isnt working, DOUBLE CLICK this time and turn it all up.

lol no the icon isnt there I check the diagnostic thing or whatever and there was no sound and there is this anooying beeping sound everytime there is suppose to be a sound and you cant mute that
