I need to know is this cam very good for the price or is it a ripoff?
Beast Cam 1if you know of a camera, that size 'ish that is maybe cheaper BUT better, post links here..
if you know a cam that is a little more, a LITTLE (not $3000 more) expensive but way better post links here.

VX series are fucking sex, but if I were you I'd definitely go with a 1000 or 2000, they're harder to find but cheaper, and are pretty much gonna do all you need them too. VX1000's are what bam uses - OMG

wouldn't get a vx1000 tho man. it doesnt have a lcd screen and no av or dv-in which is (imo) a big con.

I can afford it because I saved money myself since I started high school, and my parents will help with the payment too, and no before anyone says they will not sex the shop owners for the camera.
And when I get it well start for the DVD so the dvd wont be done til next year.

waaay to much money for a camera though. Just get a Mini DV camera if you dont already have one and they are perfect for what you do. No need to spend all that money..

I film with a vx2000 and damien (spdst) has a 2100 like you have in the picture. Nothing but good shit to say about them, but you definately need comitment and professional know how to use them to full potential. The quality is ridiculous

Its a rip off. Ritz is one of the biggest rip offs out there.
I spent a long while searching for the absolute cheapest place to buy a vx2100. You gotta watch out...there is alot of gray markey and bait & switch scams out there.
http://www.dbuys.comif you find a place that sells it cheaper than $2100, I promise you its a scam.
After you order from dbuys they will give you a sales call trying to upsell you on some over priced merch. Just tell them no thanks and what you already ordered will be fine.
