How would you feel if you found your hard work being used in someone elses piece and being passed on as their own?
To give credit just say: Bridge photo from
this site. And yes I do use my own photos.

all pictures I have ever used was from stock xchange, and even on there it says it removes all their rights when they upload their pictures there, and if.. IF.. they want it to be credited they make it where you must email them and tell them what you're using it for.

Well if I didn't want my artwork used, I wouldn't put it on Sxc.hu or anything like that, if they put it up then I think it's fine to use without mention.

yeah, that's why it's called stock, they put it up for any use an artists needs it for.. must I post this again?
Stock photography is photography or other imagery of common landmarks, concepts, and events that can be used and reused for commercial design purposes. Book publishers, specialty publishers, magazines, advertising agencies, film makers, web designers, graphic artists, interior decor firms, corporate creative groups, and other entities utilize stock photography to fulfill the needs of their creative assignments.
you don't need to try and be some hippie artist here. you must respect and be respected artists motto! that's like telling everyone not to download illegally, it's the internet. if I was able to go around and find out how many people have stolen my artwork and tell them it's wrong, I'd have no life.
