Honestly, I think it's dumb? I don't get it. People just paste some paint brushes in the back with some paint splattered and arrows and put any random picture and it's all of a sudden sooo good.

There are only a few people on here that I've noticed that their work is actually their own shit. Adem for example, his work is amazing. Seriously, there is no shitty paint brushes in all of them and stuff and most of his pictures have a meaning.

I don't know dude, the girl kinda does go there and the edges around her are all rough and stuff. Too dark IMO.

I agree, but there is good and bad usage of brushes also.

what tom said. you should have used a lighter texture. maybe on screen, if not, overlay would still work except you have to work on masking and painting it into place, rather than just tossing it on and changing the blending mode.

nobody has said that it's soo good the reason I posted it was to get feedback to help me improve stuff I make in the future, not everyone can just make something as amazing as adem you have to work up to it thats why I'm asking for tips everyone has to start somewhere.

Na it's the sun, it has the yellowey hue on everything and if the sky was clear, why would there be a street lamp on, let alone one to cast a shadow lol

Thats the roof by the looks of things, you can see the sky reflection in the window.

Thats definatly the sun. The thing your talking about tomm has horzontal lines going across it, I don't think the sky is made of planks of wood. Also you can see the relection of the sky in the window. Awsome pic. Tomm your a fool.
