Well this is more of a rant at a paticular game developer.
Team Fortress. A mod that started with quake and quickly bursted onto other engines. It was one of the first mods that actually required teamwork more than anything and for that it achived a very strong player base. When the first Half-Life came out a Team Fortress mod soon followed and with it hunderds of players. At one time it was actually played more than Counter Strike. Then valve realeased a surprise at E3 99, Team Fortress 2. It looked way diffrent than the game we were used to and because of this alot of people hated it. I was one of them. It looked more like a War sim than a fast pace shooter that we were used to. Well after seeing what TF2 was going to be like we waited and waited some more. They still have not givin us any more info on TF2 since 99.
Well now if you want to play some Team Fortress you will most likely be playing with bots and very few real people.. The community is dwindling but there is one mod team that said "Fuck Valve" we are doing this on our own and they are, but valve doesnt really like that .If you go to valve's forums and ask about TF2 or if they support "Fortress-Forever" (which is the name of the new TF mod) the topic will be closed and you will most likly be banned.
Valve is not doing anything for us and then they get pissed when we take our own actions to renew our classic favorite game. Well I say
"FUCK YOU VALVE"If any of you play Half-Life or Half-Life 2 I reccomend going to

ps. I am still buying Half-Life 3
and the expansion to the first one "Aftermath".

Ill read it for you nuggeto of course and by what I read this mod sure seems a blast...Much like the Old Dudes/Old Dames RPG server Mods for UT2004. Although I do not play nor have Half-Life 1 or 2, This mod seems pretty fun. Infact I might buy half-life when I get the money...Just so I can become one with the game and totally kick ass. Much like I do on ut2004 which by the way cant wait to play you in that.
Shame their are only 3 or 4 FPS games that are worth playing online for the computer.
