C.J update

Ok well not its been a couple months since the newspaper, most of us are over 18 now, well me and stuart and alot of our friends....I am thinking of bringing cameraJunkies out of the shadows and start workign straight on a dvd, which will be alof of skits and couple main stunts and alot of extreme sports. As I always have proamised to get a dvd coming, I will even do all of it myself but I am needign some help. I got my camera, my firewire and my cables. One problem ...
My JVC DVC, GR-DVL 145EK never came with software so when I plug it into the pc the pc doesnt have a clue what am doing. So with out this camera I cannot upload some footage no 1 has seen and upcomign skits. everyone taken part with camerajunkies have been busy with life lately, like me a got a job! wud you believe it?? No neither did I!

Well am calling on all the loyal HGF groups to give me a hand and get my uploading from my camera to pc done.


Well it has been a sad times as been watching clips and the hunt3 go past and without being able to take part.
So please lads and ladies.

Kalle, did you contact JVC on getting the right driver for your camera?

Use a firewire if you've got one and you don't need any shitty usb software.

Exporting with USB gives bad quality footage. Your best bet is to purchase a firewire card

He has firewire...do you not need driver software to transfer data through firewire from dv cam to pc?

Not usually, and if your PC has a firewire card, then its the firewire card driver you need. Check the manufacturers website, as they usually have them on there.

Kalle confused me the other week with all this. He said he installed the firewire card correctly, so fuck knows.

well I installed al the drivers. I will do it all again just incase. Im pretty pished atm, lol. Good to hear some people are glad or camera junkies being back.
