But then we had anouther angle on my old Hi 8 camera...but guess what! the fire wire port is fucked

is there a way ov connecting the camera to anouther camera...so it will play the footage on the camera its connected to so we can capture it..?

Your camera has to have the correct input part, and I don't think yours has it
